The Husker Room!
This is a basement we remodeled with a built in theater system. The 65" TV and speakers are built into the wall to the left is a DVD storage room. Previously the ceiling height was only about 6 feet but by boxing out some duct work and beams we rose it to over 7 feet, giving it a much larger feel. It makes this the perfect place to watch the game on a Saturday! Nothing overly expensive, just one example of a customized remodel.
Kitchen Remodel in Progress
Before
This home was built in about 1930 and had been haphazardly remodeled throughout the last 80 years. It had 5 layers of flooring, the plumbing was nearly corroded shut and the electrical system was out dated and unsafe.
Tear Out
Starting with a fresh surface the plaster and old insulation have been removed. A new plumbing system was cut into the floor and new wiring was ran. A partition wall was removed between the kitchen and dining room to open up the area.
A New and Improved Surface
After replacing the windows and relocating the electrical and plumb systems, drywall can now proceed.
Cabinet Install
Cabinets were ordered before the tear out had begun and have now been installed. Not that you can tell from the picture but during the installation additional reinforcement was added to the cabinets for better durability. This is something we commonly do on our cabinet installs.
Finished Product
To finish this kitchen remodel off we installed quartz counter tops, an under mount kitchen sink, and a decorative tile backsplash that ties everything together. Of course not all remodels are the same, we can customize to your taste and price range too. Click here for more pictures.
