Siding
There are many different styles and brands of siding on the market today, each have their own distinct advantages and disadvantages. Most people replace their siding to make their homes look better; over time the siding has either rotted or weathered to the point that paint just isn't an option. But siding also acts as a weather barrier against moisture and if not installed correctly can and will have a short life span. Our goal is to not only make the siding look good when we are done, but for years down the road. Call or Email us for a free estimate.

Vinyl Siding
Vinyl is considered a maintenence free product . It will never have to be painted and the product itself should last a very long time. Flashing and surface preparation is crucial to the performance of vinyl siding. Thicknesses are manufactured commonly ranging from .040 to .046, which may not seam like a big difference but when held in your hand the difference is quite noticeable. This is one of the most incorrectly installed products on the market
Hardboard Siding (Wood Composite)
Hardboard siding comes in different forms but basically it is a composite derived from wood products. It can be installed vertically in 4' x 10' sheets or horizontally in laps. When painted it has a more wood like appearance than vinyl. It also performs well against impact damage. These products must be painted and caulked well to resist moisture damage. Even with lifetime paints these products have to be painted and recaulked periodically.
Cement Siding (Cement Composite)
Very similar in appearance to the hardboard products but composed of cement fiber. Installation is very similar to wood hardboard siding. While also susceptible to moisture damage, the cement products often resist moisture and impact damage better than most wood products. When installed and finished properly this product is not only great to look at but very durable as well.
